Writing Part 1 will demystify the process of teaching writing well and give participants the knowledge, research, precise instructional language, and confidence needed to succeed. It will provide the tools to transform the classroom into an organized, joyful writing environment where students connect reading with writing every day across the curriculum, learn essential skills like grammar and spelling, and achieve higher scores on high-stakes tests through sensible, writing-based test preparation and daily classroom assessment. Join us for an interactive journey that will forever change the way you teach writing!

Course location: General Vanier Intermediate School, Cornwall, Ontario. This year the course will take place in the eastern region but our hope is to offer it in the western region in the subsequent year.
