The Upper Canada Leger Centre for Education and Training (UCLCET) is a community focused organization that seeks to find innovative ways to spearhead unique projects supporting education, diversity, health and well being in the Eastern Ontario Counties of Stormont, Dundas, Glengarry, Prescott, Russell, Lanark, Leeds and Grenville.

UCLCET was incorporated in 1999 as a not-for-profit corporation and was registered as a charity in 2002.

Successful Recruitment Tour



Upper Canada Leger Centre and Upper Canada District School Board send out two recruitment teams October-November 2009.  Carmen Cousineau and Richard Gales attend WEBA agent fair in Switzerland, ICEF Agent Fair in Berlin followed by seminars organized by ECSE our German Educational Consultants in Bonn, Germany.

Frank Hummell and Rene Bourget attend the Canadian Education Week in Vietnam organized by the Canadian Consulate.

International Students from the Cornwall Area meet at Homestay Coordinator Brenda Manning's home on December 13th for some Christmas Cheer!

 
Happy Anniversary UCLC!!

Upper Canada Leger Centre was incorporated on May 7, 1999 so we will now begin to celebrate our 10 year Anniversary.  Many students and staff have participated in a number of UCLC projects throughout the years.

 
Aboriginal Literacy Grant

  Upper Canada Leger Centre has recently awarded Kalynn Thompson, a grade 12 student from Akwasasne, a $500 first prize literacy grant funded by the National Indigenous Literacy Association for her winning essay, "Holding Up the Tree of Peace".
